Sika are spirited, alert animals, best suited to experienced keepers who value strong genetics and adaptability. Their venison is fine-grained and flavoursome, and they thrive in wetter, rougher ground where other species may not. I recommend Sika for expanding diversity in a collection or adding vigour to an existing herd.
